Funeral services for Gladys G. Christofferson were held Wednesday January 21 at Community Presbyterian Church, Postville, Iowa. Rev. Terrance P. Hennesy officiated. Schutte Funeral Service, Postville was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Arvey Berg, Rodney Livingood, Ambrose Waters, George Huebner, Rodney Smith, Clarence Storla, and Laurence Hofer. Interment was in the Postville Cemetery.

Gladys Christofferson, daughter of Frank A. and Anna (Larson) Munger was born March 25, 1907 at Lanesboro, Minnesota. She died Sunday, January 18, 1987 at her home in Postville, Iowa. She lived in Elkader and attended school there. She taught in the country rural schools. On June 14, 1935 she married Harold L. Christofferson in the Methodist Church at Elgin, Iowa. They had one daughter, Ann. She was a member of the Community Presbyterian Church in Postville and the UPW, the American Legion Auxiliary, and a charter member of a women's bridge club which has met for over 50 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harold who died in 1971.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann and her husband Harlan Stee, Jr. and 2 grandchildren, Kristin Stee and Gregory Stee, all of Burlington, Iowa.
