Mary A. Lee, age 85, a resident of Thornton Manor Nursing Home in Lansing, Iowa died there Saturday, December 30, 1985. Funeral services were held at St. Patrick's Church Monday December 30 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Albert Manternach celebrating the mass. Burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery with Hanson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Alden Larson, Bob Collins, Phil Weighner, Verdine Berns, Jim Campbell, and John Kerndt.

Mary Lee was born in Waukon, Iowa on May 23, 1900. She was a daughter of Thomas J. and Ellen E. (Kennedy) Lee. From 1911 to 1980 she lived at the same address in Waukon, Iowa. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Miss Lee cared for her parents until their deaths. She also helped when needed with her nieces and nephew and their children.

She is survived by a sister, Cecilia A. Sheridan of Waukon, Iowa and a brother, Thomas J. Lee, Jr. of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
