Laura L. Reinke, age 81, of New Albin, Iowa died Monday, February 24, 1986 in Lansing, Iowa at the Thornton Manor Nursing Home. Services were held Friday, February 28 at 2 p.m. in St. John's, Wheatland Church in rural New Albin, Iowa. The Rev. Milton Kading officiated with burial in the church cemetery. Haugen-Roble Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Casket bearers were Roger Vonderohe, Ronald Vonderohe, Delmer Ideker, Merlin Reinke, Fremont Meyer, and Leonard Wiegrefe.

Laura was born March 23, 1904 in Union City Township to Henry and Emma (Bisping) Vonderohe. She married August Reinke on October 16, 1936 in St. John's, Wheatland, Allamakee County, Iowa. They farmed in the Eitzen-New Albin area. August died February 27, 1974. She had worked at Elmhurst College, Elmhurst, Illinois. She was a member of the Women's Fellowship of St. John's and the New Albin Senior Citizens.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

Survivors include two brothers, Carl Vonderohe and Albert Vonderohe, both of New Albin, Iowa in addition to many nieces and nephews.
