Kenneth L. Van Brocklin, age 21, of rural Lansing, died Tuesday, July 30, 1985 in a pickup truck accident in Allamakee County, Iowa. Funeral services were held Friday, August 2 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lansing, Iowa. The Rev. Herbert Tegler conducted the 10:30 a.m. services. Burial was in the Gethsemane Cemetery. Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home of Lansing was in charge of arrangements.

Kenneth was born March 2, 1964 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Robert and Kathryn (Strub) Van Brocklin. He was a graduate of Kee High School in Lansing. He was employed by Brennan Construction Company, Lansing, Iowa.

He is survived by his parents; his grandmother, Mrs. Edna Strub of LaCrescent, Minnesota and step-grandmother Dorothy Van Brocklin of New Albin, Iowa; 4 brothers, Ronald, Daryl, Craig, and Eric Van Brocklin, all at home; and 2 sisters, Mrs. William (Laurie) Moore of Ankeny, Iowa and Mrs. Dennis (Diane) Johnson of Marshalltown, Iowa.
