Alvina M. Boltz, age 92, of Lansing, Iowa, died Thursday, October 31, 1985 at Thornton Manor Nursing Home in Lansing. Funeral services were held Sunday, November 3 at 2 p.m. in the United Methodist Church in Lansing, Iowa. The Rev. Tom Mattson officiated. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing, Iowa was in charge of arrangements.

Alvina was born November 20, 1892 in Houston County, Minnesota to George J. and Dorothea (Schroeder) Meyer. She married Peter Boltz. He died January 31, 1962.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.

She is survived by a daughter, Sylvia Tucker of Bonsall, California; a son, Devillo of Las Cruces, New Mexico; 2 brothers, Alfred Meyer, and Irvin Meyer of New Albin, Iowa; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
