Agnes Victoria Lee, age 89, of Waukon, Iowa, died Friday, March 10, 1989 at the Good Samaritan Center. Funeral services were held Monday, March 13 at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waukon with Pastor Mike Bremer conducting the 1:30 p.m. services. Burial was in Village Creek Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Terry, Dave, Derrick, and Danny Shogren and Lynn and Larry Schellhammer. Honorary pallbearers were Edwin and John Erickson, Virgil Herman, Bill Sires, Willard Fritz, and Edmund Anderson.

Agnes was born September 8, 1899 in Center Township, Allamakee County, Iowa to Frank and Gusta (Swedberg) Erickson. She attended rural county schools through the eighth grade. On January 22, 1925 she married Alden Shogren in Waukon, Iowa. He died June 3, 1943. She married Henry Lee on January 12, 1960 in Lowell, Indiana. He died June 1, 1966. She was a homemaker, farmwife, and a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church and its Dorcas Society.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Walter, Herbert and Edwin Erickson.

Surviving are 3 sons, Kenneth Shogren of Waukon, Iowa, LaVern Shogren of Lansing, Iowa and Gene Shogren of Waterville, Iowa; a daughter, Mrs. Harlan (Delores) Schellhammer of Lansing, Iowa; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Rudolph Erickson of Seaside, Oregon.
