Ruth N. Ralston, age 90, a former resident of Waukon died Wednesday, April 20, 1988 in St.Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. Brief graveside services were held Friday, April 22 at the Oakland Cemetery, Waukon, Iowa. Ruth Nagel was raised in Waukon, Iowa, graduated from the Waukon High School and married Warren L. Ralston, also a former Waukon resident. She was a 52 year resident of Evanston and a sales executive for Field Enterprises prior to her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include two sons, Richard M. Ralston of Chicago, Illinois and Raymond W. Ralston of Summit, New Jersey; 5 grandsons, Robert, Raymond, John, David, and Charles and 4 great-grandchildren, Robert, Antoinette, Mary, and Loren.
