Henry B. Schulte, age 96, of Waukon, Iowa died Wednesday, April 27, 1988 at the Good Samaritan Home. Funeral services were held Friday, April 29 at 10:30 a.m. at St.Patrick's Catholic Church. Father Larry Duenas officiated at the services and burial was in the Hanover Cemetery. Casket bearers were Leon, Clem, and Andrew Schulte, Francis Stortz, Garry Schulte, and James Schulte. Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Henry B. Schulte was born July 23, 1891 in Allamakee County to John A. and Johanna (Colsch) Schulte. He attended boarding school in Dyersville, Iowa and served in World War I in 1918. On December 2, 1958 he married Marie Blake at Hanover. He was a retired farmer.

He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Schwartzhoff and 3 brothers, John B., Joseph, and Andrew Schulte.

Surviving are his wife; a son Francis of Dubuque, Iowa; four half-sisters, Sister Mary Ileen of Dubuque, Iowa, Mrs. Leo (Bernice) Fritz of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, Mrs. Jim (Florence) Crawford of Champlin, Minnesota, and Mrs. Emil Thelen, Carmel, California, and a brother Raymond Schulte of Champlin, Minnesota.
