Kristi Megan Cunningham, age 6, of Waukon, Iowa died Wednesday, February 1, 1989 at St. Francis Hospital in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Funeral services were held Friday February 3 at St.Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon. Father Ed Lechtenberg conducted the 11 a.m. services. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were Fred Fossum, Jeremey Johnson, Brian Cunningham, and Patrick Cunningham.

Kristi was born August 10, 1982 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Daniel J. and Sharon L. (Paus) Cunningham. She attended two years of specialized schooling in Decorah, Iowa. She was a member of St.Patrick's Church. Kristi liked riding in the van, "Kristi's Coach", being outdoors, or in the hammock on the deck at home. She traveled with the family on numerous outings and all family vacations.

Surviving are her parents, a brother Colby, a sister Shannon; grandparents, Leo and LaVon Cunningham of Waukon, Iowa, and Raymond and Delores Paus of Dorchester, Iowa; maternal great-grandmother, Frances Meiners of Caledonia, Minnesota, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
