Funeral services for Margaret Diedrich were held Tuesday, November 12, 1985 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home in Racine, Wisconsin. The Rev. Melvin Bergin officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. A visitation was held Sunday at the Funeral Home in Postville. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery, Racine, Wisconsin.

Margaret A. Diedrich, daughter of Gustav and Bertha (Scharlot) Glander, was born March 20, 1890 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She died Saturday November 8, 1985 at the Good Samaritan Center in Postville, Iowa.

On October 5, 1912 Margaret was married to Albert Diedrich in Milwaukee. They were the parents of two children, Ralph and Lois. They lived in Milwaukee until 1921 when they moved to Racine, Wisconsin. After the death of her husband, Margaret moved to Postville in 1978 to live with her daughter. She had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Center for the past few years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert, who died July 23, 1977, a son, Ralph and a daughter-in-law, Shirley, a brother, Edward Glander, and two sisters, Ella Weber and Cora Pomrening.

Surviving are a daughter, Lois and her husband the Rev. Duane Schroeder, Postville; five grandchildren, Kathleen (Mrs. Diego Franzoni), Burbank, Illinois, Janet (Mrs. Fred Chavonec), Ted Diedrich and his wife, Sue, and Sally (Mrs. Tom Mikulecky) all of Racine, Wisconsin, and David Schroeder, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and four great-grandchildren, Christina Franzoni, Michael and Paul Diedrich and Jerrod Mikulecky.

She was a member of St.Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. While living in Racine she had been a member of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Racine Chapter No. 45.
