Lucille E. Cooper 89, of Onalaska, passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, at her home.

She was born in Harper's Ferry, Iowa, on Nov. 21, 1914, to Walter and Elizabeth (Dolan) Valley. She married Delbert Cooper in Waukon, Iowa, in August 1933. He preceded her in death July 16, 2004.

Lucille is survived by one daughter, Yvonne Mallette of Onalaska; one son, Leonard (Shirley) Cooper of Onalaska; five grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Maurice (Betty) Valley of La Crosse; many nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Edna Valley of Onalaska, Doris Cooper of Harrison, Ark., and Florence Cooper of Waukon.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Floyd.

A Mass of Christian burial was held Oct. 13 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Onalaska, with burial in Onalaska City Cemetery.
