Maida M. Lager, 80, of New Albin, died Sunday, May 28,1989 in the Prairie Du Chien Memorial Hospital.
She was born December 25, 1908 in New Albin to Carver and Rosa Corti (sic)* Gantenbein. She married Frederick Lager on September 7, 1927, in Winona, MN.
She was a member of the Rosary Society, the Catholic Order of Foresters, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, Gerald and William, both of St. Peter, MN, and Larry of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a daughter, Rosemary Lochner of Prairie Du Chien; two brothers, Glen of Howard, SD, and Raymond of Green Bay, WI; a sister, Dorothy Rogstad of Springfield, MO; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, May 31, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, New Albin. The Rev. Henry Charipar officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
