Lansing native buried here

Elkader resident Mathilda Weipert, 77, died March 22 at the Elkader hospital.
She was born in Lansing, August 10, 1907. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Martha Weidenbacher of Dubuque and Mrs. Florence Ross of Jacksonville, Fla., and a sister in law, Myrtle Weipert of Dubuque. She was predeceased by brothers Sam in 1971 and Jack.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 24, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Sam Luginbill conducted the services at Martin funeral home in Waukon. Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery at Lansing.
