Obituary - Barbara Gantenbein

Mrs. Barbara Gantenbein, 75, a long time resident of the area, died Monday, May 2, 1988, in Moline, IL, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Gantenbein taught for many years in the Lansing- New Albin school district.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Gantenbein, and one son, James.

Survivors are Marie Gantenbein, Belton,TX; Glynn Gantenbein, Temple, TX; David Gantenbein, Horse Cave, KY; and Ruth Metsa of Moline, IL.

Funeral services will be held today , M ay 4, at 6 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moline, IL.

There will be a memorial service in June at St. Joseph’s Church in New Albin.
