Burdette Rekow, eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rekow of Ludlow township, passed away Thursday in an Iowa City hospital where he had been a patient for several days. Burdette Henry Rekow was born June 16, 1932, near Luana. Graveside services were conducted on Saturday morning at the Lutheran cemetery at Luana by the Rev. F.R. Ludwig. He is survived by his parents, three sisters, Gwendolyn, Marjorie and Karen Rae, and one brother, Lee Allen. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dona Lois and a sister who passed away in infancy.
