Funeral services for Robert Burseth were held from St. John's Lutheran Church, Waukon, on Monday, June 19, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David R. Vaaler officiating. Mr. Burseth passed away on June 16, having been a patient at the local hospital for the past six weeks and having been in ill health for sometime. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery.
Robert Burseth was born in Winneshiek county on May 14, 1924 to Louis and Ella Anderson Burseth. He was married at Decorah on Sept. 6, 1958 to Darlene Heim, who survives, as does his father, a brother, Gary, and a sister, Betty, Mrs. Glen Meyer of New Albin.
He received his education in the local schools and had been a taxi driver and filling station operator.
