Lillian Kiesau Eames, 96, wife of the late Donald Nicklas Eames and a resident of the Hermitage on the Eastern Shore, Onancock, VA, formerly of Yardley, PA, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawodox, VA.

Born on August 20, 1904, in Postville, Iowa, Mrs. Eames was the daughter of the late Dr. Frederick Kiesau and Emma (Deppe) Kiesau. She was a homemaker, a graduate of Coe College and a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Yardley, PA.

Mrs. Eames is survived by a son, Robert Eames of Punoteague, VA; a brother, Dr. Milton F. Kiesau of Postville, IA; two grandchildren, Lisabeth Eames Capozzi of Mechanicsburg, PA and Edith Eames Olsen of Onancock, VA; two great-grandchildren, Louis Capozzi III and Jeremy Olsen, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted from the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Yardley, PA on Saturday, April 21, 2001, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Daniel Hamby officiating. Interment was in the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Cemetery.
