Mabel I. Elliott, 91, died Thursday in Good Samaritan Center. Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial: St. Pius Cherry Mound Cemetery, rural Harpers Ferry. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 3 and Scripture service begins at 7.

Survivors include a son, Richard, and a brother, Ronald Snitker, both of Waukon; and a sister, Ruth Guggenheim of Rockledge, Fla.

This might have been a Waukon paper or the Monona Billboard paper instead of the Postville, Iowa newspaper of the time clipping, hand dated Dec. 3, 1992, from my mother's obituary collection. Posted for genealogical purposes, contributor is not related.
