Arthur Friedrich Heinrich Reincke was born in Grand Meadow township, Clayton Co., Iowa, Dec. 24, 1886, and died at the home of his parents in Postville at half past five o'clock on the morning of Tuesday, June 21, 1910, aged 23 years five months and twenty-seven days, after a bried illness from brain fever. He was a fine and industrious young man, working at the trades of tinner and carpenter. For the past five years he had not been in as good health as could he wished for, but nothing serious was anticipated until he was attacked a short time ago by brain fever, the fearful ravages of which he did not long withstand. He is survived by his parents, two brothers and four sisters, and friends innumerable. The funeral was held from the Lutheran church at two o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. R. Kuehne. Interment in the Postville cemetery.
