Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at the Haudenshield-DeWacther Funeral Home, Dubuque, for Clarence C. Leubka, 71, of 2665 White St., who died Friday, July 5 at Xavier Hospital, Dubuque. Burial was in Dubuque Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Leubka was born in Postville on December 10, 1902 and had been employed for many years at the Dubuque Packing Co., before his retirement. He was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church and Local 150 of the Amalgamated Meat Cutters and Butchers Workmen of North America.

Surviving are his wife, the former Lucille Jahnke, a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Iva) LaPage and a son Lester C. Leubka, both of Dubuque; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Arnold (Hazel) Backhaus of Postville and three brothers, Elmer and Roy of Postville and Merle Leubka of Waukon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Anna Leubka and a sister Violet who died in infancy.
