OBITUARY

SPRING - William J. Spring died at the city hospital at 6:30 this morning, after being sick for two weeks with typhoid fever. He was taken to the hospital a week ago. He was 26 years old, unmarried, and lived at the home of his father, John Spring, in Riverside Addition just east of the Yahara River. The deceased was associated with his father in a meat market and grocery business across from the No.3 fire station on Williamson Street. He leaves two brothers, Edward and John Spring, Miss Elizabeth Spring and Mrs. John Shields. Funeral arrangements are yet to be made.

Note: William Daniel Spring was a son of John and Marianna Kaeser Spring and was born in Waukon, Iowa on 4 September 1880. Burial was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison, Wisconsin.
