W.H. Snitker is Called Suddenly
Heart Attack is Fatal to Hanover Township Man at Age of Fifty-Five

William H. Snitker, well known farmer died suddenly Thursday morning at his home in Hanover township. He was stricken with a heart attack whilde throwing wood in the cellar and passed away within a short time. He was 55 years of age.
William H. Snitker was born July 2, 1882, in Grundy county, Iowa. The family settled in Frankville, Winneshiek county and later moved to Mantiwoc, Wisconsin. In 1932 the family returned to Allamakee county to reside. He was twice married his first marriage taking place on October 22, 1909, to Miss Martha Grotegut, who passed away a number of years ago. Four children were born to this union. On July 24, 1925, he married Miss Pauline Klein and they made their home on a farm. Since 1935 they have lived in Hanover township. Five children were born to them all of whom live at home.
He is survived by his wife and following children, Mrs. Lawrence Jeide of Union Prairie township, Mrs. Henry Meier, and Miss Hulda of Fond-du-Lac, Wisconsin, Stella of Waukon, and Evangeline, Viola, Alvin, Gladys, and Lavon at home.
Two sisters and two brothers also mourn his death, Mrs. Fred Krumme, Mrs. Adolph Biebemeier, August and Hermann, all of Ludlow.
The funeral services were held Sunday from the home and from the Salem Reformed Church in Ludlow, Reverend E. DeBuhr officiating. Burial was made in the nearby cemetery.
The pallbearers were August, Eldo, and Martin Krumme, and Raymond, Wesley, and Willard Snitker.
