Otto Peters
Lansing, Ia.-Otto Peters, 61, who had lived all his life in Allamakee county, died unexpectedly at his farm home near here while performing his chores.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon in the Evangelical United Brethren Church, with interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
Mr. Peters was born in Allamakee county May 4, 1886, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emil Peters. Educated in the county’s rural schools, he had been a farmer all his life.
He was married Oct. 5, 1916, to the former Martha Gaunitz, who survives him.
Other survivors include two daughters, Miss Marjorie Peters of the home and Mrs. Anita Kenney, Waukon, Ia.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Carothers, Hayward, California, Mrs. Augusta Miller, Ekalaka, Montana, and Mrs. Anna Luchterhand, Dubuque; and one brother, Charles Peters, Lansing.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter and by two brothers.
