Funeral services for Alma M. Kuehling, 85, formerly of Postville, were held Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the First Lutheran Church, Longmont, CO. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont.

Alma Kuehling, the daughter of Fred and Marie (Reinhardt) Miene was born Dec. 2, 1897 in Postville. She died at home in Longmont Sept. 30.

She was baptized and confirmed in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Longmont.

On April 30, 1919 Alma Miene married Will D. Kuehling. To this union a daughter was born. The Kuehlings moved from Postville to Longmont in 1930.

She was a member of the Columbine Extension Homemakers Club.

Preceeding her in death were her parents and husband.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Virginia M. Hutchins, Longmont, CO; two brothers, Otto Miene, Postville, and Fred C. Miene, Monona; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Winters, West Union; a grandson, Lynn A. Hutchins, Newton; two granddaughters, Mrs. Michael (Mary K.) Sullivan and Mrs. David (Helaine) Nuttail, Longmont, CO; and several grandchildren.
