Lilian June Leusink was stillborn Friday, November 27, 2009 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Private family graveside services were held in Waterloo Ridge Cemetery in rural Spring Grove, MN, with Pastor Gene Hermeier officiating. Martin Funeral Home in Waukon assisted the family with arrangements.

Survivors include her parents, Benjamin and Katharina Leusink of Sioux Center; paternal grandparents, Arlin and Joyce Leusink of Sioux Center; maternal grandparents, Jim and Judy Ahles of Postville; aunts and uncles, Kyle (Jennifer) Ahles and their son Robert of Waterloo, Chris and Stephanie Ahles of New Albin, Aaron and April Leusink and their children Kady, David and Aubree of LeMars, Ulf and Mindy Schaefer and their children Taylore and Austin of Sioux Center, and Shanyn Leusink of Sioux Center; and great-grandmothers, Genevieve Leusink and Eileen Van Voorst, both of Sioux Center.

She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, John “Hans” Van Voorst, Gerrit John Leusink, Paul and Juliet Ahles and Norman and Julia Vongroven.
