Mr. Charles Dougherty of Iowa township, father of J.F. Dougherty (Wagon-maker) of this place died at his residence last Friday. The dread Messenger came for him in the form of consumption, and at the age of sixty years he passed from his earthly labors. His remains were interred at Lycurgus last Sunday. He was one of the old residents of the county and his death reduces that band of pioneers one less.
