Death has again called in our city and taken away one of our young men. John Christainsen who passed away on Monday Aug 29th at 3 o'clock p.m. He had been afflicted with consumption for the past two years from which he gradually grew weaker until death came to his relief. Having lost his parents while young he was cared for during his illness by the Louis Jacobsen family, who did everything possible to make him comfortable. The funeral took place Wednesday Aug 31st and was attended by many friends and relatives. His remains were laid to rest in the cemetery near the Dalby church. He leaves a brother and many relatives to mourn his loss.
