Mrs. Charles F. Reincke, nee Clara Oline Stromsodt, the daughter of Andrew O. Stromsodt and Carrie Nelson Stromsodt, was born at Calmar, Iowa April 22, 1891. She was baptized at the Norwegian Lutheran Church in Calmar on May 8, 1891 and confirmed on May 13, 1906.

She worked as a saleslady for the Mott Company in Decorah for 25 years. She was married to Charles F. Reincke on March 28, 1943 and moved to Postville, where she and her husband operated the hotel. She united with St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Postville on April 2, 1944, and was active in the life of the congregation as well as in the Lutheran Church Women.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Ingevald Stromsodt of Austin, Minnesota and one as an infant.

She is survived by two sisters, Bernice, Mrs. Francis Hart, of Postville and Mrs. Agnes C. Mott of Calmar; two stepchildren, Dorothy, Mrs. Fred Groth of Postville and Delmar Reincke of Cedar Rapids; and many other relatives and friends.

She entered the Community Memorial Hospital in Postville on May 19, 1964 and died there on May 21, 1964 at the age of 73 years and 29 days.

Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Postville on Saturday, May 23, at 2:00 p.m. Interment was in the Postville cemetery with the Rev. Charles E. Witt officiating.
