HENRY THOMAS BOLLMAN was born in Muskingham Co., Ohio, Oct. 4th, 1835, and died Aug. 18th, 1901, at his home near Frankville, Iowa, aged 65 years, 10 months and 14 days.
He was converted in early life, and his trust in God continued to the end. He was united in marriage with Miss Adaline V. Minert Nov. 10, 1859, and to them were born nine children, three preceding him to the future life.
The deceased came to this state with his parents in 1855, and settled on his farm in 1861, where he lived until the time of his death.
His relations with the church were pleasant and its duties as a member and trustee were performed cheerfully. He was a man of few words, preferring that his deeds should speak.
A true husband, a kind and indulgent father sleeps to awake at the sounding of the trumpet.
Funeral at the home. Interment at the Minert cemetery.(There was a card of thanks with this, but I wasn't able to copy it.)

Henry Bollman died at his home, about four miles southeast of Frankville, Sunday morning, Aug. 18, 1901. He has been ill for some time, his main disease being dropsy. He was perhaps of the age of about 60 years. We are not possessed of the full particulars, but give them as nearly as possible. He leaves a wife and six children, four sons and two daughters—Frank, Grant, Sherman, Harry, Mrs. Lillie Winters and Jessie. The funeral was held at the house to-day, Rev. Burgess, officiating.
