- Mrs. John Schroeder, on Henderson Prairie, died last Saturday morning after a lingering illness. She had a large tumor removed a few weeks ago and never full reacted. The funeral was held from the Lutheran church on Monday, and was one of the largest ever held there. Those who mourn have our sympathy.

Mrs. John Schroeder died at her home on Saturday from the effects of her recent operation. She was Marie Schmidt before her marriage and was born in Stettin, Germany, 44 years ago. She leaves her husband and a son and daughter, also her aged father, three brothers and two sisters.
