Fanny Moore-Hart

A telegram from a hospital at Perham, Minnesota, Wednesday, of last week brought the intelligence that Mrs. Fanny Moore-Hart was lying at the point of death with no hope of recovery. Her father and sister made all haste to her bedside, but her soul had passed on to the glories of a better life a few hours before their arrival Thursday night. Few deaths that we have been called upon to record have so touched the sympathetic sorrow of this community. Mrs. Hart was a woman of rare qualities of heart and personality, and was admired and respected by all. She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Moore of Jefferson township and spent her entire life time at the family home and here in Waukon until her marriage to William Hart, a former resident of this county in September 1912, going with him at that time full of life and hope and happiness to their new home at Dent in northern Minnesota. Peace to her ashes. The remains arrived in Waukon Saturday. Funeral services were held in Chapel Hall Monday morning and the remains interred in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
