Thomas Otto Ohloff

Memorial services for Thomas O. Ohloff, of Azusa, CA, will be held Thursday, Dec. 22, 1988 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. The Rev. Julius L. Peterson will officiate. The Schutte Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Postville Cemetery.

Thomas Otto Ohloff, son of William and Shirley (Olson) Ohloff, was born Jan. 17, 1956 at Postville. He died Dec. 14, 1988 at Foothills Presbyterian Hospital, Glendora, CA.

He graduated from the Postville High School in 1974 and from Luther College in 1983. On July 3, 1984 he was married to Carmela Douglas of Fridley, MN at the Luther College Chapel in Decorah. They moved to California in July 1984.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Ohloff and Otto Olson, and an aunt, Kathleen Koevenig.

He is survived by his wife, Carmela, his parents, William and Shirley Ohloff, 5 brothers, Dean and his wife, Laurel and Dan and his wife Mary, all of Postville, Steve and his wife Wendy of Moore, OK, Marlyn and his wife Joni, and Glen, all of Castalia; 9 nieces and nephews and 2 grandmothers, Velma Ohloff, Postville and Irma Olson, Waukon.
