Arabella Jones

Miss Arabella Jones, aged twenty-one, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Jones of Hanover township, died at the hospital in Rochester, Minn., where she had gone for an operation for goitre, but owing to her feeble condition, died before an operation could be preformed. The remains were brought here Monday, and the funeral took place Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, services being conducted at the Presbyterian Church. Owing to the absence of the pastor, Rev. VanNice, the funeral sermon was preached by Rev. J.A. Young, pastor of the M.E. Church. Interment was in the Oakland Cemetery. The deceased was a very beautiful and popular young lady, and her utimely demise came as a shock to her parents and friends. The Standard joins the many friends in extending condolence to the bereaved family.
