Ellamay Minert Dies At Ames On Monday

News was received Monday of the death of Ellamay Minert, who passed away that morning at Ames, following an extended period of ill health. A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Minert, early settlers in this vicinity where she was born and spent her girlhood. About 25 years ago she and her sisters, Mrs. Maude Scharf and the late Mrs. Louise Kelly, moved to Ames. A sister, Mrs. Scharf and a brother, Willard Minert of Ames survive. Funeral services will be held in that city Wednesday afternoon, and will be attended by Miss Minert's cousins, Mr. and Mrs. P.D. Cote, Mrs. J.F. Keppler, Mrs. H.G. Ludeman and Dora Eaton. The body will be cremated and the ashes later brought to Waukon for burial in the family lot in Oakland cemetery.
