Emma L. Nelson (Kaeser)

Emma L. Kaeser, 92, Waterloo, former Waukon resident, died Saturday, July 2 (1977) in Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo. She was born in Allamakee County, October 25, 1884, and her parents were Gilman and Albertina Nelson. She attended the local schools and Waterloo Business College. She married Dan Kaeser December 27, 1906 in Waukon. He preceded her in death June 1, 1954.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Kermit (Sylva) Feuerhelm of Waterloo; two sons, Harold E. of Columbus, Ohio and Lester of West Branch; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Preceding her in death were son and daughter, Floyd and Hazel; brothers and sisters, Ole, Albert, Edwin, Hannah, Matilda, Minnie, Marie, and Lena.

She was buried in Oakland Cemetery in Waukon.
