Henrietta Pausch

Henrietta Pausch died July 26 at Northgate Care Center, Waukon. Services were held Monday, July 30, 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Presbyterian Church, rural Postville. Rev. Larry Olson officiated. Burial was in the Bethlehem Presbyterian Cemetery. Martins Funeral Service, Waukon, was in charge of arrangements.

Henrietta MaBelle Pausch, daughter of Charles J. Homan and Emma Louisa Gusta Homan, was born April 12, 1909 at her parent's farm in Jefferson Township.

She received her education in a country school near Forest Mills. She was a lifetime resident of South Allamakee County.

On November 13, 1928 she married Carl B. Pausch, Sr. at the Little Brown Church, Nashua, IA. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Ludlow telephone switchboard during 1940 and 1950.

She was a member of Bethlehem Presbyterian Church and active in the UPW at that church.

Survivors are her son, Carl Pausch, Postville; and one sister, Mrs. Mae White, Decorah; 1 grandchild, Randy Pausch.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Carl, who died March 29, 1972; 2 brothers in infancy; 3 sisters, Leta, Minnie and Florence.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Renne, Kenneth Erickson, Lee Erickson, Marlin Pausch, Richard Hager, Milo Dundee.
