Rites Held For Mrs. Mary Huey 1867-1954

Funeral services were held at the Schutte Funeral Home at 10:00a.m. Friday for Mary Huey, who passed away at the Good Samaritan home in West Union, on October 6. Rev. Charles E. Witt, pastor of St.Paul's Lutheran Church was in charge of rites. Mary Huey, daughter of Julius Olson and Elizabeth Gulbranson, was born in Post Township, Allamakee County on June 12, 1867. She lived all her life in this area. She was married to Grant Huey in 1891. She passed away on October 6, 1954 at the Good Samaritan Home in West Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Olaf Hanson, and Mrs. Louise McMartin, and two brothers, Martin Olson, and Ole Olson. She is survived by her son, Ben Huey of Calmar, one grandson, Robert of Chicago, and one great-grandson.
