Mrs. Barker Rites to
Be Thursday in OsageOSAGE—Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Champion funeral home in charge of the Rev. John D. Kern of the Baptist church for Mrs. Anna Barker, 78, who died early Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Bertha Larson at whose home she had been cared for the past year. Born near Waukon March 11, 1858, she was married Dec. 25, 1891, to William Barker. They moved to the Dakotas where they spent several years. Then they returned here where they have made their home since. Mr. Barker died 19 years ago. Nine children were born but only three survive: Mrs. Ethel Minnis, Mrs. Ida Carrison and Lee Barker, all of Osage. Burial will be in the local cemetery.
