Mrs. Sam Overhaug

SPRING GROVE, Minn. (Special) — Mrs. Sam Overhaug, 84, died Sunday at 1:35 p.m. at Tweelen Memorial Hospital.'* She had been ill a year.

The former Inga (Netia) Halverson, she was born Sept, 17, 1880, in Allamakee County, Iowa, to Herman and Brynild (Lanlie) Halverson. She lived in the Spring Grove area all her life. She was married lo Sam Overhaug in 1898 in Allamakee County.
She was a member of Waterloo Ridge Lutheran Church.
Survivors: Two sons, Henry, Maple Park, ill., and Arnie, DeKalb, Ill.; five daughters, Mrs. Oscar (Genora) Horgan, Decorah, Iowa; Mrs. Edward (Myrtlle) Bakken, DeKalb; Mrs. Julian (Delia) Myhre and Mrs. Alvin (Gladys) Sanderson, both] of Maple Park, and Mrs. Leonard (Thelma) Lane, Spring Grove; 30 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Julia Bjorge, Spring Grove. Her husband, three sons, a daughter and a brother have died.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Waterloo ridge Church, the Rev. S. 0. Sorlien officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Engell-Hoble Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday morning and at the church after 1 p.m.
