SPRING GROVE, Minn. (Special)—Tom O. Thompson, 76, Dorchester, Iowa, died at 5:25 a.m. Saturday at Spring Grove Hospital following an illness of two weeks. "
He was born Aug. 29, 1885, in Allamakee County, Iowa, son of Tosten and Oline Thompson. On June 12, 1928, he married Ida Fretheim at Big Canoe Lutheran Church. He spent all his life in the Dorchester area.
Survivors are: His wife; one brother, Almon, Spring Grove, and one sister, Mrs. Helmer (Clara) Aune, Spring Grove. Four brothers and three sisters have died.
The funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Big Canoe Lutheran Church, the Rev. William T. Hexom officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Engell-Roble Funeral Home Sunday, Monday and until noon Tuesday and at the church after 1 p.m.
