Otto B. Farason Services at Mabel

Mabel, Minn. —{Special)— Funeral services were held at the Mabel First Lutheran church Thursday afternoon for Otto B. Farason, 78, who died in Minneapolis, The Rev. P. C. Hiller officiated. Burial was in the Mabel cemetery.
Mr. Farason was bom May 18, 1873, in Paint Creek, Allamakee, county, Iowa. Following his marriage to Gena Haug of Lansing, Iowa, he went to Lanesboro to make his home. From 1903 until 1941, he was in business with his brother, Hans Farason, at Mabel. They retired in the spring of that year and since then he had lived with his' daughters in Minneapolis.
Survivors are two daughters, Gladys and Odys Farason, Minneapolis; one brother Hans, Igloo, S. D., and two sisters, Mrs. Lewis Johnson, New Richland, Minn., and Mrs. A. J. Hanson,- Mason City, Iowa. His wife died March 24, 1935
