Estella May Feuerhelm

Mrs. Estella May Feuerhelm was born February 1, 1877, at New Albin, Iowa, and departed this life at her home near Lake Park, Iowa, Aug. 15, 1929, after a siege of illness and great suffering, undergoing two operations. Mrs. Feuerhelm was married to Reuben J. Feuerhelm February 27, 1896. To this union were born four children, Della M., Florence E., Keith Reuben, who preceded his mother to the Heavenly Home, and Lorraine May, who with the beloved husband and many near relatives and friends mourn her going, but with confidence that all that loving hands and skill could do was done. Sister Feuerhelm was converted at 18 years of age and united with the Presbyterian church at Mt. Hope, Ia., of which she was a faithful member at the time of her marriage, when by transfer she united with the Methodist Episcopal church, of which her husband was a member. From that time till her coronation she was a faithful worker for the Kingdon of Christ, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her worth. As a former pastor we rejoice to know her loved, know her Savior, and look forward to that reunion above where we never say good bye. Her good bye here meant good morning there. God bless you all. She is also survived by one brother, Arthur May of Lake Park, and one sister, Etta Sires in Washington, her step-mother, Mrs. Mary May and step-brothers of Waukon.
