Philip Reiser Rites Wednesday

New Albin-- Philip Reiser, who had always lived in Allamakee county, died Sunday at the home of the Earl Reisers where he had resided since the death of his sister Barbara. His funeral was held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Burke funeral chapel in Lansing, with the Rev. Mr. E. DeBuhr officiating. James Sires was soloist.

Burial was in the Mays Prairie family lot. Pallbearers were Robert Weymiller, Alvin Aldrich, Ed Gramlick, Norris Johnson, Clinton Dee and Walter Feuerhelm.

Mr. Reiser was born in the Mays Prairie neighborhood near Lansing, Aug. 17, 1885. He was the son of Peter and Catherine Marti Reiser, He never married. Educated in the rural schools, he was a farmer.

Survivors include the following nieces and nephews, Earl and Leslie Reiser of New Albin, Mrs. Lillian Eckels, Mrs. Evelyn Anderson, Willial Babler of Eagle Bend, Minn.; Mrs. Gladys Sly and Mrs. Marjorie Mayer of Minneapolis.
