ALFRED A. ADAM

WAUKON, Iowa - Alfred A. Adam, 76, of Waukon died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1888, at Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church, with burial in Oakland Cemetery, both in Waukon. Friends may call Tuesday at the Martin Funeral home, Waukon.

Mr. Adam, who was born April 18, 1911, in Allamakee County, son of Fred and Lydia (Stock) Adam, farmed. He married Dorothy Nolte June 1, 1933, in Ludlow Township, Allamakee County.

His wife died Jan. 20, 1978.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Joyce) Thornton of Waukon, a son, Ronald of Monona, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ada Shafer and a brother, Willard, both of Postville.
