The funeral of Mrs. George Leet, who died at a local hospital Sunday following an illness, will be held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon from Martin's funeral home and at 2 from the Methodist church. The Rev. Mr. Ray Orr will officiate, and burial wil be in Oakland cemetery.

Mrs. Leet was the former Viola Gordanier, born March 12, 1881, in Allamakee county, daughter of Philip and Permelia Segrist Gordanier. The family lived near Postville, then moved to Waukon in 1919, and later back to a farm. She was married Dec. 24, 1901 to the late George Leet in Waukon.

Remaining are three daughters and a son: Ethel, now Mrs. Aulgar Paulson of Clermont; Albert Leet of Bemidji, Minn.; Lulu, now Mrs. Byron Livingood of Waukon and Marjorie, now Mrs. William Waldron of Waukon. A daughter, Mildred, died at the age of 13 years. There are 11
grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Also remaining are a brother and two sisters: Lynn Gordanier of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Mrs. Ethel Richards of Pasadena, Calif.; Mrs. Jess Uhl of Waukon. A brother and two sisters preceded Mrs. Leet.
