Alphonse Hawes 1900 - 1908

Little Alphonse, 8 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hawes of Lafayette, was bitten by a rattlesnake July 9th, and died on the 12th. Burial was made at Wexford.

*NOTE* According to Woodmansee burial records, Alphonse died on the 13th rather than the 12th. Unsure which date is correct.
