Harvey Krogman Dies in Missouri
Harvey F. C. Krogman, 69, a former Postville resident, died unexpectedly Friday, January 11, 1980, at his home in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Funeral services were held January 15, 1980 at 1:30 p.m. in St. Joseph.
Orginally from Postville, Mr. Krogman moved to St. Joseph in 1939 from Peoria, Illinois, where he was employed as a transportation commissioner. He established the Krogman Travel Service Company, when he returned to St. Joseph after World War II, and retired in 1972.
He was a member of the Moila Temple Shrine, the Hugh DePayens Commandery No. 4, Knights Templar, the Mitchell Chapter No. 14, RAM and the Zeredatha Lodge No. 189, AF & Am.
His father, Charles F. Krogman preceded him in death. Surviving are his wife, Vivian Orr Krogman, his mother, Mary Reincke Krogman, Washington, Illinois, one sister Hazel Bareis, Washington, Illinois and two nephews.
