Funeral services were held for Gladys B. Sires Sunday, October 12 at 1:30 p.m. at Martin chapel in Waukon, Iowa. Pastor Mike Bremer officiated, with burial in English Bench cemetery.

She died October 9, 1986, at the age of 75. She was born August 11, 1911, to Daniel and Anna (Hahn) Sires in Allamakee county.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Lorraine Britain of Waukon; and Roberta Kannenberg of Cassopolis, Michigan; and two brothers, William Sires of Spring Grove, Minnesota; and Robert Sires of Cassopolis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Alpha Rosendahl and Lois Rosendahl; and a brother, Calvin Sires.
