HOWARD W. LEUI

Howard W. Leui of Sterling, Illinois died May 27 in Community General Hospital in Sterling. He was admitted to the hospital at 6:45 a.m. after suffering a heart attack.

Mr. Leui was an ironworker and for the past several years had been employed by the John Stevens Construction Company.

Funeral services were held on Thursday in the Melvin Funeral Home with the Rev. C. A. Kalkwarf, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, officiating.

Mr. Leui was born July 16, 1905 in Postville, son of John and Milda Sonnkalb Leui. He married the former Laura Wells on May 17, 1928, in Charles City.

Surviving are his widow; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Dittmer, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, Mrs. Ora Hoffbauer, Willmar, Minnesota and Mrs. Margaret Gass of Postville; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.
