MILFORD A MEYER
ONALASKA, Wis. - Milford A. “Mel” Meyer, 69, of 1004 Second Ave. N., Onalaska, died Friday, June 29, in a La Crosse hospital.
Meyer was a former resident of La Crosse and had lived in the area for many years. He had been employed in retail automobile sales.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1254 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1920.
Survivors are two stepsons, Dr. George Ellenz of La Crosse and Terry Ellenz of Onalaska; eight stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat grandchildren; and a brother, Lloyd of Escondido, Calif.
His wife, the former Margaret Ellenz preceded him in death.
Services will be Monday at 8:30 a.m. in the Schumacher Funeral Home, La Crosse, and at 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Msgr. Anthony Wagener will officiate. Burial will be in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., where there will be a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. and the Moose Lodge will conduct a memorial service at 8 p.m.
